Here are some of Autotex’s achievements :

• 1975 Autogusset (for panty-hose) with a world patent and more than 2000 machines around the world;
• 1979 Form Cut, the only machine in the world to form, cut and stack panel gussets from knitted tubes;
• 1980 A range of Auto Links and Auto Loaders for line closers and toe closers;
• 1985 Modular sock automation systems, Autopair machines and dedicated modules, i.e. tissue paper insertion etc;
• 1987 Sock separators (machines to automatically turn and separate strings of socks e.g. Bentley Comet;
• 1988 A wide range of sock packaging solutions;
• 2001 Fully automatic robotic transfer print unit to print inside the welt of panty hose, directly on the boarding machine.

Now in 2005 we are developing several advanced systems which will revolutionise the sock packaging process.
